Throughout this period I have remained connected to South Africa and to the people I have left behind. My conscience lies with the people of South Africa and I welcome this opportunity to make a small contribution to the amazing work that the South African Angels are doing.
I am privileged to have met, in the Sydney Angels, like minded people with a similar history and conscience to me and together we hope to establish a sustainable charity in Sydney to support the already established TAN branches in South Africa.

So many amazing memories overshadowed by never ending worries of what I’d left behind.
Thirteen years ago I started raising money for FeedSA and then recycling and sending books, school/sports uniforms, shoes and general clothes to SA, Zambia, Kenya, Congo and local Australian communities.
I could never have done these projects without the beautiful network around me.
I'm now excited to join The Angel Network Sydney so that we continue raising funds on a larger scale with greater accountability to our donors.
The goal is to network, work collaboratively and help angels help others.

I feel blessed to have “found” and now assisting the Angel Network who are genuinely a team of “real” Angels who really do make dreams come alive!! We’ve been fortunate enough to sponsor our very own kitchen in Cape Town in honour of our two children whom we lost over the years and by giving back and feeding hundreds of children we’re able to keep our angels from above spirits alive .. thank you 🙏

My name is Louise Fisher. Originally from Johannesburg, I have lived in Melbourne for 36 years. A piece of my heart is still very connected to South Africa. I have been fortunate enough to be involved with The Angel Network South Africa almost from its inception, collaborating together on many projects, helping hundreds and thousands of needy people. I am passionate about making sure that those doing it so tough in South Africa are helped in every way possible. Whilst I am involved with many causes, The Angel Network is the most rewarding as I see the immediate and direct impact they make on improving conditions for those in need. We have a committed team of Australian Angels who are determined to make a difference with many exciting projects.
I arrived in Sydney in 1998 excited about a sea change and setting up my own Playball Kids Sports business. In South Africa I enjoyed using Playball to help young children integrate and play together in a multicultural environment. I really miss that aspect of my work but endeavour to give back in the way of supporting the wonderful work

In South Africa I enjoyed using Playball to help young children integrate and play together in a multicultural environment. I really miss that aspect of my work but endeavour to give back in the way of supporting the wonderful work of the Angel Network in Australia, in making the lives of the vulnerable and less fortunate children and adults better. Together, we can change people’s lives 🌻
Despite having left South Africa over 20 years ago, my heart remains with the rich African community I grew up in and amongst.

As a busy psychologist/organisational consultant and mum of two beautiful teenagers, my hands are quite full so having such a committed group of ladies (man Angels are welcome) in Sydney making this happen is a true gift.
My hope is that the expat community in Sydney will stand behind the Angel Network and stop to briefly reflect on the depth, hope and spirit imbedded in the beautiful country we all grew up in.
I am an Occupational Therapist and live in Sydney with my husband and our daughters.
Despite living outside of South Africa since 2007, we continue to have a deep love for the country and have wanted to contribute to making a difference to people’s lives in SA.
I have always had a passion for helping those in need.
I consider myself a very empathetic and nurturing person and would like to dedicate my time to making a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.
I was born and raised in Zimbabwe and I have been privileged enough to come live here in Australia.
Giving back and helping others in need, holds such a big place in my heart.
I am blessed to be part of such an incredible network and look forward to achieving our goals.
